Sing Loo! A tremendous success!
All members of the Training Choirs, the Main Choir and special guest artists put on a wonderful concert in the Grand Lobby of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel on Sunday, November 27 at Sing Loo! This featured a sneak preview of some of the music to be performed at our annual Chorus Christmas concert on December 17 at Roy Thomson Hall. The 4th annual pledge-driven event resulted in funds raised above our target of $110,000! We appreciate the support of all those who attended the concert and contributed to the continued success of the TCC. We especially thank all the choristers and guest musicians who worked so hard to put on such a spectacular performance.

2011-2012 Concert Season
Mystery and Mastery
2011-2012 Concert Season
We’re very pleased to announce our 2011-2012 concert season, Mystery and Mastery. This season will feature many exciting performances, including some with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) and Exultate Chamber Singers!
The Chorus starts off the season as guest artists with the TSO performing alongside Chorus Honorary Patron Christopher Plummer. We will perform Behold the Night, a TSO newly-commissioned work from Larysa Kuzmenko for Children’s Chorus and Orchestra. Christopher Plummer will play the role of Henry V in Palmer’s adaptation of Walton’s music – not to be missed concert!
For all those who missed our performance with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Chorus will repeat their performance of Behold the Night by Larysa Kuzmenko in our October concert held in the beautiful Timothy Eaton Memorial Church.
Our annual sold-out holiday concert in Roy Thomson Hall will feature guests True North Brass and, of course, sing-a-long carols!
February’s concert features our adorable and formidable Boys’ Choir, Training Choirs and Cantare Choir who will present the music of Beethoven, Brahms, Britten, and many more gems.
Those craving a more intimate concert will enjoy the Chorale Choir’s performance in the Glenn Gould Studio, followed by a wine and cheese reception.
This year’s all-choirs Spring Concert in the Toronto Centre for the Arts will feature masterworks by Canadian, European and New Zealand composers.
We close the season as guest performers in the Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Mahler’s glorious Eighth Symphony, dubbed the Symphony of a Thousand.
