“And special notice must be made of the Toronto Children’s Chorus Choral Scholars … This was a choir, basically of teenagers, who sang well beyond their years, investing their parts with verve, understanding, subtlety and power. They were quite a revelation.” – Robert Harris, The Globe and Mail

Elise Bradley, Choral Scholars and Wallis Giunta celebrating at the opening night reception.

Last night’s opening performance of Opera Atelier’s Dido & Aeneas at Elgin Theatre was a spectacle to behold! The Choral Scholars had the honour of performing with Canadian mezzo-soprano, Wallis Giunta, whose commanding performance not only inspired the audience, but also our choristers!Christopher Enns, Artists of Atelier Ballet and Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra (under the baton of David Fallis) also performed, proving that when incredible talents collaborate, magic is made!

Congratulations to TCC Artistic Director Elise Bradley and Choral Scholars for their excellent work in this production!
