Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 with Toronto Symphony Orchestra

The TCC will join the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in performing Mahler’s 3rd Symphony, which was described by the TSO as “Mahler’s most  all-embracing symphony…a soul-stirring hymn to nature”. Also joining the TSO are mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton, and the women of the Amadeus Choir, the Elmer Iseler Singers and the Oriana Women’s Choir.

Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with Opera Atelier

The TCC Choral Scholars will join Opera Atelier in performing Henry Purcell’s 17th century opera. Other guests include artists of Atelier Ballet and Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra.

Our Chorealis and Cantare choirs are thrilled to join Orpheus Choir of Toronto to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. This concert will feature music from Ruth Watson Henderson’s The Magic of God’s World and Derek Holman’s Laudis Creationis.

Orff’s Carmina Burana with Toronto Symphony Orchestra

The TCC will join the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir in performing Orff’s Carmina Burana, celebrating life’s pleasures such as springtime, food and love.

11th World Symposium on Choral Music
July 22-29, 2017
Barcelona, Spain
The TCC Chamber Choir will join 23 other world-renowned choirs selected to sing at the 11th World Symposium on Choral Music hosted by the International Federation for Choral Music. Choristers will sing songs reflecting the symposium’s theme, “The Colours of Peace”. While in Spain, the Chorus will also compete in the Festival Internacional de Musica de Cantonigròs in Catalonia.
