True Colours: Let Your Light Shine!

May 5, 2024 at 2:00pm
George Weston Recital Hall

The Toronto Children’s Chorus’ spring concert celebrates the shared beauty and connection that emerges when we fully accept the unique thoughts, emotions, and characteristics that make each of us who we are. This program will feature an array of equally unique pieces which display a wide range of vocal colours due to their varying musical and cultural influences.

The message found in the song True Colours aligns perfectly with our 2023-24 season concept, “Kaleidoscope: Let Your Light Shine!”. It inspires us all to embrace our authentic selves and shine collectively, much like the colourful shapes in a kaleidoscope.

A kaleidoscope takes bits and pieces of colour and shapes, transforming them into breathtaking, ever-changing patterns. Just like a kaleidoscope, our community is a mosaic of diverse talents, backgrounds, and ideas, and we encourage everyone to embrace their unique qualities.

Kaleidoscope

We are thrilled to announce that the theme for this season is "Kaleidoscope - Let Your Light Shine!"  Our theme embodies the spirit of diversity, creativity, and endless possibilities.

"Let Your Light Shine" - Our Motto for the Season

"Let Your Light Shine" is not just a motto; it is an invitation to be your true self, express your creativity, and share your brilliance with the world. We believe that each one of you has a unique light within you, and this season is all about giving you the space and encouragement to let that light shine brightly.

This season is the perfect opportunity to connect, grow, and shine together. As we embrace our theme, let's create something truly extraordinary!
