Youthful Voices take Centre Stage: Toronto Children’s Chorus Announces 2026-2027 Season

September 16th, 2026

The Toronto Children’s Chorus, led since 2022 by internationally-acclaimed artistic director Zimfira Poloz, is entering its 49th season of nurturing young voices. TCC fosters a joy of singing combined with a strong music education and performance opportunities. A program of eight choirs builds on skills and artistry, culminating in the TCC Chamber Choir which makes guest appearances with major orchestras and tours internationally. In summer 2026, TCC Chamber Choir was a featured artist at the World Choir Festival in Hong Kong and the Voices of the World International Choir Festival in Singapore.

In the 2026-27 season, TCC will present four concerts to showcase the artistry of its singers, from choirs of six-year-olds new to singing through to TCC’s most experienced and talented ensemble. TCC Chamber Choir will also make guest appearances, including with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and will travel to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador in July 2027 to participate in Harbour Voices, an international festival of collective singing traditions.
